Huge Gratz Goes Out To Aamethist For Her Natures Defender!!!

As most of you in the Guild already know, this is a very belated congratulations. A big oversight on my part and I apologize for this, Aamethist. I was reminded of my mistake at the recent Officer's meeting and also realized that people have mistaken this page as an Epic Weapon Gratz page. This is not the case, friends. This page is for any item you have worked hard to get. And after all, it's easily understood and agreed that this sword (Natures Defender) is actually better than the Pally Epic weapon.
I will add a picture of Aamethist with her beautiful new sword very soon and again, sorry for taking so long to add this. Great work and you deserve it Aam!

Huge Gratz Goes Out To Mekanik For His Epic!!!

After much ridicule for repeatedly fouling up his epic, Mekanik finally completed the Spear of Fate last night. We took two groups into The Hole and swiftly flew down to High Scale Kirn. Taeil was the veritable hero for eating the HT right after he was rezed (from initially aggroing Kirn before Mekanik handed in his piece). The only other deaths were three unlucky people who died from the fall.

We then ventured off to CoM for Neh'Ashiir and Lord Rak'Ashiir. Two people from Vertical Ascention (VA) joined the fun in CoM (Kryshade and Aanyaa, who needed her epic piece from Neh'ashiir also). We rapidly cleared our way and killed the Reavers ‘til we got ourselves the lord, just as Casien, Mekanik and Alycia all went link dead (LD). Fortunately most of the people with us had fought there before and knew not to attack Neh'ashiir. After re-clearing the room and our LD people returning, Mekanik handed in his piece. Neh'ashiir took a beating and dropped Mek's piece but not the Mage epic.

After Mekanik returned from handing in the piece at Emerald Jungle (EJ), we sat around for two hours waiting for Neh'ashiir again for VA's mage. Killed the mob again and unfortunately another Ornate Runed Shield dropped rather than the torch.



Gave up on camping for two more hours and dropped down for Rak'ashiir (who was already spawned inside the castle). After some trouble getting him out, we pulled him as single pull. This was where the fun began: he was pulled too close to everyone and many were hit with the AoE (ouch!!). Well, after sending in my pet to tank, a couple of us camped out to wipe Rak'ashiir’s hate list. Mekanik turned in his next piece and I got a fresh pet on him to tank. After a close call early on in the battle, (most of us were low on mana or out of mana) the pet rallied and tanked Rak'ashiir to his death in a record time of about 10-12 minutes.

Mekanik looted his epic piece and went to EJ a final time to receive his Epic Quest Spear. Going odds at the time was 3-1 against him completing it and Mek just had to give everyone a small jab by faking that he'd failed his epic (again). Fortunately, he was only kidding (because we won't do Kirn/ Neh'ashiir / Rak'ashiir for Mekanik again).

Congrats to Mek on epic. Thanks to all who gave their lives to Rak'ashiir so that he could get it.

Due to the fact that I have not been playing much lately and Casien has also been away much of the time, I haven't been able to keep up with this page. But thanks to the generosity of Sebboh, Throkmorten, Alycia and a few others, I have some new information. Some of this information may be patchy because I probably messed some of what they gave me up. The following tables are also done differently than they have been in the past. This is also because I haven't been able to keep up with this page for a while and it's a bit easier (in this instance) for me to get the gratz out there this way. Sooooo... this is an instant "I'm sorry..." before I get anyone breathing down my neck. In the future this information will return to a normal updating period and the information I'm sure will be more accurate then as well. For now all I can do is ask your forgiveness. If there is anything here that needs to be corrected please email me and I will get to it as soon as I can.
